The Panasonic NCR18650B is currently the lithium-ion battery with the highest capacity on the market (3.4 Ah). The battery can be used for many applications (e.g., flashlights, e-bikes, pedelecs, e-vaporizers). With a current load of over 6 A, it is also relatively high-current resistant.

Panasonic has had a factory in China producing the NCR18650B since the beginning of 2014. These cells are of the same quality as the cells from Japan. Panasonic, with its Japanese staff, pays close attention to this and has good control over the manufacturing process. From 2015, the cell will only be available as Made in China, as the production lines in Japan manufacture other types.
